Pragati Scholarship is a scheme introduced by the government of India under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). In this scheme, a total of 5000 scholarships will be given to meritorious girls students for pursuing technical education. The 5000 scholarship is given each year. Under the scheme, an amount of INR 50,000 per annum is given to the scholarship winners every year.

The scheme is only applicable to the girl child. The candidate should be admitted to 1st year of Degree/Diploma course in any of the AICTE approved institutions of the respective year through the Centralized Admission Process of the State/Central Government
The selected candidates will receive INR 50,000 per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum of 3 years for students admitted to the first year and a maximum of 2 years for students admitted to the first year through lateral entry.
